Welcome to our new blog! Here we will be doing a book review on a book everyday. Yes- you read that right- 365- actually 366 books will be reviewed this year! These books range from preschool on up- staying mostly on the picture book realm. There are so many awesome books out there, but when looking for reviews on a certain book, there aren't too many of them.
Most of the books that I will be reviewing are from the Honeybee, Firefly, and Seesaw Scholastic fliers. I will be giving an extra book review every few weeks based on the other "big" books that my kids read. I will give a mother's perspective as well as trying to ask my kids what they think of certain books.
For Christmas last year- just a few weeks ago now, but seems like an eternity since we say "last year" - I gave my kids a different present. I gave them a box that had about 150 presents in it! Yep- you read that right- 150 wrapped presents. All of them books. So, every night when 1 of my kids picks a book, they have NO CLUE what they will be reading! We may be reading about Christmas in July, or Valentine's Day in August. Starting school in March. Who knows what we will be reading until we read it that night!
I hope that this will be a great reference for you. I hope that you will enjoy reading some of these books with your own children or grandchildren. Remember, it is the time that they will remember their whole lives long.
